Assounding Volcanoes
Located along the "Pacific Ring of Fire", Papua New Guinea offers distinct views of active volcanoes that captivates a land of tranquility. There exists a number of volcanoes in certain provinces, which include the latest 'basaltic statovolcano', on Manam Island, Madang Province.
Other recent volcanic location include, Rabaul's two volcanic cones - Vulcan and Tavurvur and West New Britain's Mt Pago.
